Following the cabinet reshuffle, Congress minister Navjot Singh Sidhu has resigned from the Punjab cabinet. He posted his resignation letter addressed to former Congress chief Rahul Gandhi on Twitter. Sidhu was assigned the portfolio of new and renewable energy last month after being divested from Government and Tourism and Cultural Affairs portfolios, but he refused to assume charge.
