In a historic step, Netherlands has become the first country to issue a gender-neutral passport. The first gender-neutral passport has been issued to 57-years-old Leonne Zeegers and in the space of gender specification, there is an 'X' mark instead of 'M' or 'V'. Zeegers is a former athlete and now a nurse. Since last June intersex people have won the right to be identified as neither male nor female.
