Sri Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa names Brother Mahinda as PM
Sri Lanka's new President Gotabaya Rajapaksa picks his elder brother Mahinda as the country's new PM. They were credited for crushing the Tamil Tigers a decade ago. Mahinda, a two-term president is due to be sworn in as premier on Thursday. This will be following the resignation of Ranil Wickremesinghe after his party suffered defeat at the weekend's presidential polls. Rajapaksa will take an oath with his younger brother Gotabaya.
