Minister of state for finance Anurag Thakur rebuffed all the claims that were made regarding the proposal made by the government to withdraw Rs. 2000 notes. Thakur assured the country during the Question Hour, after the government in a written reply in Rajya Sabha said there was no proposal to stop the circulation of Rs 2000 denomination notes. “I think you should not worry about it,” Thakur assured the house.
