North Korea launches several short-range missiles
North Korea fired 3 short-range ballistic missiles on Saturday, a move that came after Kim Jong Un’s regime strongly criticized U.S.-South Korea joint military drills. US Pacific Command, in its initial assessment of the launch, said North Korea's 1st and 3rd missiles failed in flight. They later amended their statement to say the missiles flew "approximately 250 kilometers”. The 2nd missile blew up immediately.
