NYPD appoints first female turbaned Sikh officer

In a first, New York Police Department appoints first female turbaned Sikh auxiliary police officer in order to create a better understanding of Sikhism. Gursoach Kaur gets this laurel who got graduated from New York City Police Academy last week. NYPD also become first organisation of the country to represent Sikh Officers in Law Enforcement. Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs also congratulated her.
