P Chidambaram to remain in custody till 5th September: Supreme Court

Tuesday, 3rd September, The Supreme Court has said that it will only take up P Chidambaram's custody matter on 5th September and not before that. The former union minister will remain in custody till then. The next hearing date for Chidambaram's bail plea will be on Friday 6th of September. In the meantime, the court has extended his interim protection from ED until the order is passed on 5th September.
