Former finance minister P Chidambaram has filed a petition, seeking urgent pre-arrest bail regarding a case of irregularities related to foreign investments and it has been scheduled for hearing on Friday by the Supreme Court. The Congress legal team leading by Kapil Sibal has aggressively tried through the date to set an immediate hearing. The chief justice issued the order after all the formalities were completed.
