Pakistan Foreign Office stated that Pak's PM Imran Khan has waived the condition of passport for one year for Indian Sikhs visiting the Gurdwara Darbar Sahib who will be using the Kartarpur corridor. This was contradicting an earlier statement by the army spokesman who said the pilgrims will need a passport. Mohammad Faisal stated that this condition of a passport was allowed for Indian Sikhs for the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak.
