The Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea, Peter O'Neill has resigned over a series of high-level failures from his government to the opposition. He has worked for 7 years in the office and was being forced to resign for weeks over a range of issues. After having no support, he decided to resign on Friday to maintain stability and said that he would hand over office to former PM Sir Julius Chan.
