Philippines and UN clash over treatment of human rights investigators

A list compiled by the Filipino government of 600 suspected Maoist terrorists includes one of the UN’s human rights investigators and this has caused the organization to come to blows with Rodrigo Duterte, The president of the Philippines, who has become infamous for his violent suppression of communists. This comes after the UN condemned Duterte for his vicious war on drugs.
