Phone services, internet partially restored in Kashmir after 5 days of security lockdown

Ahead of Eid, phone services and internet were partly restored this morning in the J&K after five days of continuous security lockdown. Restrictions on the movement were also eased to facilitate Friday prayers. Restrictions will be eased further if the prayers took place without any trouble, said officials. The restrictions were imposed by govt following the decision to end special status and divide the state into two UT.
