Plea seeking removal of Uddhav Thackeray as CM dismissed by Supreme Court

A petition seeking the ouster of Shivsena's Uddhav Thackeray as Chief Minister of Maharashtra and imposition of President's rule in the state was dismissed by the Supreme Court today. A supreme court bench led by Chief Justice of India Sharad Arvind Bobde dismissed the petition. "You have the liberty to approach the President, don't come here," the bench said. The petition against the state govt was filed by 3 Delhi residents.
