PM gives green signal to 'Rashtriya Kamdhenu Aayog' to conserve cattle

The Union Cabinet headed by PM Modi on Wednesday has given green signal to a proposal which is looking ahead for the establishment of the 'Rashtriya Kamdhenu Aayog' to conserve, protect and develop cattle population in India. The aim behind doing this is to boost the growth of the livestock sector which is more inclusive, benefiting women, and small and marginal farmers. The Aayog will research in breeding.
