PM Modi approves reconstitution of NITI Aayog, Rajiv Kumar renamed as vice chairman

The reconstitution of NITI Aayog has been approved by PM Modi on Thursday which includes Indian economist Rajiv Kumar as its vice chairman, and VK Saraswat, Ramesh Chand, and VK Paul as its members. Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajanth Singh, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar have been appointed as an ex-officio member. Economist Bibek Debroy dropped from the panel.
