For the first time since the border standoff along the line of actual control that resulted in a violent clash in the Galwan valley, PM Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping will face each other during the 12th edition of the Brazil-Russia-India-China-South Africa (BRICS) summit. PM Modi will attend the BRICS summit via video conferencing. Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro will also attend the meeting.
