Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday launched India's coronavirus vaccination drive, paving the path for the immunization of three lakh healthcare workers at over 3,000 sites across the nation. On January 3, India approved two vaccines, Covishield and COVAXIN, both of which are being manufactured indigenously. In the first phase, three crore healthcare and frontline workers will get the jabs.
