Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on a day-long visit to Odisha to inaugurate several projects worth Rs 15,000 crore, inaugurated IIT Bhubaneswar and laid the foundation stone of Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) and other development projects whose combined cost is Rs 1,583 crore. He will also inaugurate new facility of the Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) hospital.
