PM Modi reviews flood situation of six states, emphasises use of innovative technologies for improving forecast

PM Modi reviewed the current flood situation and preparedness of Assam, Bihar, UP, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Kerala to deal with the monsoon. He held a meeting through video conference with CM's of these six states. The PM emphasized on better coordination between all central and state agencies to have a permanent system for forecasting of floods and extensive use of innovative technologies for improving forecast and warning system.
