According to the latest asset declarations submitted to the PMO, the net worth of Prime Minister Narendra Modi increased by nearly Rs 36 lakh from last year. The PM's net worth stood at Rs 2.85 crore as of June 30, 2020, in comparison to Rs 2.49 crore last year. Home Minister Amit Shah declared his net worth as Rs 28.63 crore, compared to Rs 32.3 crore declared last year. The PM's fortunes rose due to bank deposits and returns.
