Post August 5th, 34,000 distressed calls received at CRPF's Kashmir helpline

On 5th August, Indian govt revoked Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir to strip the states from their special status. Since then, CRPF's Jammu and Kashmir based helpline in Srinagar has received more than 34,000 distressed calls. Majority of them were from people who were worried about their friends and family in Kashmir. Mobile network in Jammu and Kashmir was shut down during the revolutionary decision.
