Pulling leverage: US blocked North Korean air-traffic revival before 2nd Trump-Kim summit

The United States has declined to revive civil aviation in North Korea ahead of the second summit between President Donald Trump and leader Kim Jong Un in Vietnam. A UN agency ICAO was working with Pyongyang regarding a new air route that would pass through both North and South Korea. However, US discouraged ICAO to help North Korea with the air programme as the US wanted all the leverages they can have.
