Punjab CM seeks free Covid vaccine for poor in state, writes to PM Modi

Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh wrote to Prime Ministers Narendra Modi, seeking free coronavirus vaccines for the poor people in the state. The CM also extended his thanks to the PM for making the vaccine available to healthcare workers on priority. He also acknowledged the receipt of 204,500 doses of the Covishield vaccine. "It would be difficult for the poorer sections of the society to pay for the vaccination," he wrote.
