“Punjab govt should stop stubble burning": Javadekar says his throat choked in Ludhiana

Union minister Prakash Javadekar on Thursday urged the Punjab government to stop stubble burning in the state while adding that he choked on the smoke generated from the crop burning activities during his recent visit to Ludhiana. "As of now, there is about 4% of the air pollution being caused by stubble burning. All these factors together contribute to the pollution crisis in Delhi,” the Union Minister said.
