Russia President Vladimir Putin has invited PM Narendra Modi for Victory Day celebrations in May 2020. The 2 leaders had a chat on the sidelines of the 11th BRICS summit in Brazil. Modi believes the frequent meetings between the two leaders have now made the India-Russia relations stronger. Earlier, Putin and Modi had met in Vladivostok in Russia's Far East. Modi also had a meeting with China President Xi Jinping.
