The CWC met to deliberate on the defeat when Scindia argued that Congress needed to groom local leaders; that's when an angry Rahul lashed out at some senior leaders for putting their sons above the party. He pointed out that Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot, MP CM Kamal Nath insisted on tickets for their sons even when he wasn't in favour of accepting their requests. He said-Congress had done badly in states where it was in power.
