Congress defends Rahul Gandhi's lack of attention during President Ram Nath Kovind's speech as he was seen scrolling through his phone & typing away for about 24 mins in 1-hour speech. Congress spokesperson Anand Sharma justified saying- 'Rahul was trying to translate difficult Hindi words which weren't heard properly.' Sharma added- he was listening to whatever was necessary. There was no disrespect on his part.
