On Wednesday, The Congress party dismissed reports claiming that Raj Babbar, currently the president of the UP chapter of the Congress party has handed in his papers. The rumours caught media attention on Tuesday night and a tweet by Babbar himself added to the confusion. Party spokespersons claim that this is an attempt to malign the party image. Raj Babbar is said to make a statement on this soon, the party claimed.
