Rajasthan government moves Supreme Court to challenge CAA

The Ashok Gehlot led Congress government in Rajasthan has moved the Supreme Court, challenging the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). The state government filed a suit against the CAA in SC on Monday. As of March 16, Delhi, Kerala, Punjab, and Odisha among other states have expressed their reservations about the CAA-NRC-NPR linkage. Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot had also led a march against the act earlier.
