Rajyasabha to re-visit Marshals' new uniform after bad reviews from former Army chief

Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, the chairman of the Rajya Sabha, asked his secretariat to revisit the new uniforms of the Rajyasabha Marshals after the uniform received bad reviews from several politicians as well as ex-Army chiefs. The concern was mainly about the cap that was like those worn by Army officers of the rank of Brigadier and above. Ex-Army Chief V P Malik seemed unhappy with the dress and called it a security hazard.
