RBI governor's resignation reflected in Sensex and Rupee fall

Monday the RBI governor Urjit Patel resigned from his post and a day after that, on Tuesday, Sensex was down by more than 500 points at 34,458.93. The Rupee has gone down below the 72 mark against the US dollar on Tuesday morning. Patel was the 1st RBI governor to resign before his tenure ends and the resignation is the culmination and ultimate result of the ongoing clash between the central bank and the government.
