RS votes against sending the Citizenship Bill to a select committee after 113 votes against it

A day after Lok Sabha passes the bill, Rajya Sabha votes against sending the Citizenship Amendment Bill to a select committee after 113 votes against it and 92 in favour. The result came after a day long debate regarding its constitutionality. This Bill is not going to hurt anyone's sentiments. The people who are worried that minorities of this country will be subjected to injustice, it will not happen, said Amit Shah.
