Saudi Arabia has paid 500M dollar toward the cost of US troops in country

December last year, Saudi Arabia paid the United State around $500 million to cover its cost of operating in the region. However, earlier this week Pentagon refused the claim of any such transaction between the 2 nations. Bilateral discussions between the US and Saudi Arabia is going on about what expenses will be covered by the latter as according to the president’s guidance burden sharing needs to be increased.
