SC reduces allocation of Cauvery water to Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu has begun blame game, right after the Supreme Court verdict on Cauvery water dispute came out. Senior DMK leader Durai Murugan described the verdict as “a big shocker” and has called AIADMK the culprit behind this. In the verdict, Supreme Court has allotted an additional 14.75 Thousand Million Cubic (TMC) feet of water to Karnataka, while reducing the same amount from Tamil Nadu.
