Security beefed up in Washington ahead of Joe Biden's inauguration

The security arrangements at Downtown Washington have been tightened after the rioting incident at the US Capitol in view of President-elect Joe Biden's inauguration. Armed National Guard soldiers continue to patrol Capitol Hill round the clock. Nearly 20,000 National Guard soldiers will be present in the region during the inauguration ceremony of Joe Biden. The security was beefed up further after Trump's impeachment.
