Soon, Cabinet to allow 100% FDI in defence

The government is looking to allow 100% FDI in the defence sector to encourage the participation of foreign companies in the defence manufacturing sector to promote Make in India initiative in the largest importer of arms and weapon country of the world. Finance Minister Arun Jaitley had held a meeting with government officials recently and conducted a review of the current Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) policy.
