The US State Department has asked all the non-emergency American government personnel to move out of Sudan after the African nation's army forced the resignation of President Omar al-Bashir from his chair after nearly 30 years of rule. An advisory was issued which said that there is a national state of emergency in Sudan and security forces have the authority to detain anyone ruining the public order.
