Supreme court extends Chidambaram's judicial custody in INX media case till October 3

The Supreme Court has ordered to extend the judicial custody of former finance minister P Chidambaram till October 3 in the INX media case. The 74-year-old leader was sent to Tihar jail on September 5 under the charges of corruption in the INX media case. Chidambaram's lawyer Kapil Sibbal demanded regular medical examination for Chidambaram and opposed the CBI's plea to extend Chidambaram's judicial custody.
