Supreme Court holds advocate Prashant Bhushan guilty of contempt for tweets against CJI SA Bobde, court

The Supreme Court on Friday held advocate Prashant Bhushan guilty of contempt of court for his alleged tweets on Chief Justice of India Sharad Arvind Bobde and his four predecessors. The court will hear arguments on the sentence against him as August 20. On July 22, the top court had issued a show cause notice to Bhushan after initiating the criminal contempt against him for his two tweets.
