Take a deeper look at the new Motor Vehicles Act

One of the bills passed in the 16th and 17th Lok Sabha is the new Motor Vehicles Act. Earlier it was rejected due to heavy protest, but on 11th September Nitin Gadkari defended the bill saying the number of road accidents is very high in the country and that is why the bill is required. However, surprisingly, apart from the Highway and transport minister Gadkari, no other minister from BJP has come forward in its support.
