The most influential former Prime Minister of Thailand, Prem Tinsulanonda, has died at the age of 98 due to a heart attack in a Bangkok hospital on Sunday. He served as the PM from 1980 to 1988 and was the most trusted advisor of late King Bhumibol Adulyadej, who helped to form the military-monarchy bond. He was considered instrumental in the 2006 achievement against the then PM Thaksin Shinawatra.
