United States President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania visited the Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad briefly, alongside Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Trumps also tried their hand at the Charkha and penned their thoughts in the visitors’ book. “To my great friend Prime Minister Modi - Thank you for this wonderful visit!” Trump wrote in the Visitors' book after spending some 15 minutes at the ashram.
