The Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry expressed his sadness over the decision he and his wife made to step down as 'royals'. “Our hope was to continue serving the Queen, the Commonwealth, and my military associations without public funding. Unfortunately, that wasn’t possible," Harry said at an event in London. He said that it was an extremely difficult decision for him and his wife to step down as royals but there was no other option.
