To avoid Amritsar-like accident, Railways asks drivers to slow on spotting crowd

On Dussehra, Amritsar witnessed an event which can never be forgotten. It took many lives that day. After the incident, Northern Railways has asked drivers of trains to slow down whenever they’ll spot crowd and guards to take all safety measures during events related to festivals near the railway track. The guard on 19th October failed to inform both the people on tracks and the nearest station about the situation.
