Triple Talaq law to be reviewed by SC, notice issued to centre over the validity of the law

Triple Talaq law which was cleared by the parliament last month has been challenged in Supreme court. SC after hearing 3 petitions which had challenged the constitutional validity of Triple Talaq law, seeks to end the practice of Muslim men instantly divorcing their wives by uttering "talaq" thrice, issued a notice to centre over the validity of the triple talaq law. The law will be examined by the Supreme Court.
