It has been confirmed by the Tripura Election Commissioner G. Kameswara Rao that this year's Tripura assembly elections witnessed a 78.56% voter turnout. This 60 seat Tripura Assembly election began at 8 a.m. The polling process in Meghalaya and Mizoram will be done on Feb 27 and then the final results of these three northeastern states are going to be announced on 3rd March.
