Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer ripped through United States President Donald Trump in her speech hours after an alleged plot to kidnap her was foiled by the police. “Hate groups heard the president’s words not as a rebuke, but as a rallying cry,” Whitmer said in her speech. She further added that when the leaders "meet, encourage or fraternize with domestic terrorists, they legitimize their actions."
