UK's National Police Chiefs' Council chairwoman Sara Thornton has said that nearly $24 million were spent on US President Donald Trump's security during his visit to the UK. 10000 police officers were involved in 26000 police shifts to cover Trump's four-day anti-Trump protest marked visit during which he held talks with UK PM Theresa May at her country retreat, visited Windsor Castle to meet Queen Elizabeth II.
