UK PM Theresa May steps down as Conservative Party leader

The UK Prime Minister, Theresa May has stepped down as the chief of her Conservative Party on Friday afternoon, which has formally started the hunt for a successor who will try to deliver Brexit. Whereas, May will continue to be the PM of the country until the next prime minister is elected, i.e., in late July. But she has been abandoned from control over the direction of Britain's tricky withdrawal from the EU.
