UP treasury takes care of I-T duties of the CMs and ministers since 1981

According to a four-decade-old Uttar Pradesh law, the ministers of the states are poor and cannot pay taxes from their meager earnings. Even though many of the ministers have their own expensive cars and often flash their wealth, UP treasury was taking care of the I-T duties of the Chief ministers and other ministers under the Uttar Pradesh Ministers' Salaries, Allowances and miscellaneous act, 1981.
